Dosey stores what you enter, on your device, and sends it nowhere. This page explains exactly what that means.

What Dosey stores

Your height, weight entries, medications, dose schedule and history, and any notes you add. Everything is stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device SwiftData storage. There is no Dosey account, no sign-in, and no Dosey server that this data is sent to.

Apple Health

If you turn on Health sync in You, Dosey reads and writes your weight (and the BMI it calculates from it) through Apple's HealthKit, entirely on your device. Dosey never asks Health for anything beyond that, and Health access can be revoked at any time in the Health app.

Reminders

Dose reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. No reminder data leaves your device or passes through a server.

Purchases

Subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple's App Store using StoreKit. Dosey never sees or stores your payment details — Apple does, under Apple's own privacy policy.

What Dosey does not do

No analytics, no advertising, no third-party trackers, and no network requests other than the App Store purchase flow above and, only if you enable it, Apple Health.

Exporting and deleting your data

You can export your weights, doses, or a prescriber summary as a file at any time from You › Export, using your device's own share sheet. Deleting the app deletes all of its local data — there is no separate copy on a server to request deletion of.
